Featured work remains the property of its creators. This policy provides a straightforward route for credit changes, courtesy removals, moral-rights concerns, privacy issues and formal copyright notices.

01Our approach

ui-design.studio is a curator-operated gallery of public interface-design posts sourced from X. We aim to credit the person identified by the source post and link directly to that post. We do not claim ownership of a featured creator's work.

Attribution does not replace permission where permission is legally required. If you own or created featured material, represent the rights holder, appear in the material, or believe the credit or use is wrong, contact us. You do not need to use legal language for a simple credit or removal request.

This policy is a practical reporting process. It does not determine ownership, concede infringement, waive any right or provide legal advice.

02Fast credit corrections and courtesy removals

For the fastest review, email legal@newhorizoncode.io with:

  • the URL of the gallery page or original X post;
  • your name and your relationship to the work or person concerned;
  • whether you want a credit correction, tag correction, public removal, privacy review or another change; and
  • the best way to contact you if we need clarification.

A creator may also message the curator through the X account linked from the site. Email is preferred for requests requiring attachments, an audit trail or formal legal treatment. We may ask for reasonable verification, such as a message from the source account, but we will not ask for more personal information than the review reasonably needs.

We prioritise clear requests and aim to act promptly. The time needed depends on verification, the requested action, provider access and the complexity of competing rights.

03Formal copyright infringement notice

If you want to make a formal infringement claim, send a written notice that includes substantially the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorised to act for the rights holder.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. A representative list is acceptable where one notice covers multiple works.
  3. The exact gallery URL for each item you want removed or disabled, with enough information for us to locate it.
  4. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for the rights holder.
  7. If you intend the notice to operate under United States law, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorised to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

Put "Copyright notice" in the email subject. Sending every formal element is not required for a courtesy request under section 2, but missing information can delay a formal claim. You can use our DMCA Notice Form to prepare a notice containing these elements.

04What happens after a request

After receiving a sufficiently clear request, we may:

  • acknowledge it and ask for limited additional information;
  • temporarily disable public access while we review the claim;
  • correct attribution, tags or contextual information;
  • remove the gallery page and copies reasonably within our control;
  • contact the source account, creator, alleged rights holder or a service provider where reasonably necessary;
  • preserve a minimal record of the request and action taken; or
  • decline or narrow a request where we reasonably believe it is mistaken, abusive, unsupported or legally invalid.

We consider applicable copyright exceptions, licences, ownership information, moral rights, privacy interests, platform requirements and other relevant law. A temporary removal is not an admission of liability.

05Responses and possible restoration

A creator, source-account holder or other person who believes material was removed or changed by mistake may email us with the affected URL, their identity and relationship to the work, and the factual or legal basis for restoration. Supporting permission or licence information is helpful.

Because visitors do not upload material to the Service, we do not operate an automatic subscriber counter-notice and restoration timetable. We may share a response with the original complainant where lawful and reasonably necessary, keep the material unavailable while a dispute is unresolved, seek legal advice, or require the parties to obtain a court order or resolve ownership between themselves.

06What a removal can and cannot do

Depending on the request and systems involved, an action may include hiding the gallery page, invalidating gallery caches, deleting a rehosted image, removing private classification data, or deleting a related post from a studio-controlled X account.

We do not control the original X post, the creator's account, independent copies, search-engine results or third-party caches. You may need to contact X, a search provider or another website separately. Browser and CDN caches can also take time to expire after we remove a source file.

A public removal does not always require immediate deletion of every internal record. We may retain limited identifiers, correspondence and audit information for security, dispute prevention and legal compliance as explained in our Privacy Policy.

07Notices using the U.S. DMCA format

We accept notices containing the elements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) at the contact below and will consider them promptly. However, the Service is curated by us and does not currently let the public upload or store material. Publishing this process is not a representation that New Horizon Code Pty Ltd is entitled to a United States DMCA safe harbour, and the contact below is not presented as a registered U.S. Copyright Office designated agent.

A DMCA designation requires a separate registration and public agent details. If we register an agent or materially change how content is supplied to the Service, we will update this policy.

08Privacy, confidentiality and misuse

The notice form prepares an email draft locally in your browser. It does not submit entries to or store them on the Service. Information reaches us only if you send the draft from your email app.

We use information in a request to investigate it, communicate with the relevant people, keep an action record and comply with law. We may disclose the notice and contact details to the source account, a rights holder, our providers, advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary. Do not include sensitive information that the request does not require.

Notices should be truthful and made in good faith. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation can create legal liability. Do not use this process to harass a creator, uncover private information, suppress legitimate criticism or make a claim over work you do not own.

09Where to send a request

Send courtesy requests and formal notices to the same contact. Email is monitored for privacy, credit, content and legal concerns.
